Open Up Your World
In June 1997 ISA released the Open Up Your
World Video and Resource Kit to 1800 Australian schools and
career centres. It
was released to stem falling numbers in University
and TAFE courses.
If enrolments continue to fall, Australia may have
to import surveyors to meet industry demand.
The 10-minute video covers why
surveyors are so important to the community, what
a surveyor does and how
to become a surveyor.
The resource kit shows what newly
graduated surveyors are doing, from the Andes’ jungle to
Antarctica.
