Transferring your Domain Name to CanberraNet

To transfer your domain name to CanberraNet, your DNS records will need to be updated. The process for transferring your domain name is as follows:

  • Inform us of your DNS requirements using the DNS request form.  We will notify you when your DNS records have been setup.

  • Inform your domain name registrar (who you registered you domain name with) of your new nameservers. Your new nameservers will be:

Primary Nameserver
Hostname: dns.canberranet.com.au
IP Address: 203.37.110.3

Secondary Nameserver
Hostname: dns2.canberranet.com.au
IP Address: 203.37.110.2

  • New domains that have been registered will also need to be delgated in the same way.

Note: CanberraNet can organise the transfer of your domain name.  We will require information such as your NIC handle, who your domain registrar is, username and password to make changes, domain registration key if required etc.
